All VVMC-1000 SCR Control Systems using a VVC-1-PG (Black Box) with a SWEO/Baldor Drive.

Description

In a small number of applications, MCE has seen that the U and D relays in the "Black Box" drive fail to make or chatter. Most frequently, this results in an intermittent shutdown at the beginning or end of a run. Car may be found in or near door zone with MLT fault.

Action

If you are experiencing the symptom described above, the cause may be related to the relays in the "Black Box" drive. Please call MCE Technical Support for troubleshooting assistance. Once the cause has been confirmed, MCE will provide necessary replacement relays.
