All controllers designed for ASME A17.2000 (B44) with MP software versions prior to 8.01.00, or with PCA versions prior to 6.0.0002.

Description

Over the past year, our experience with field installations of ASME A17.2000 (B44) control systems has led us to design and implement several product enhancements to our controller software.

If you are experiencing redundancy faults without an apparent cause, these faults could be caused by hardware timing issues. We have designed a more sophisticated software redundancy fault detection method to make the system more robust.

Action

If you are experiencing any of the symptoms described above, or if you are unsure whether a problem you are experiencing may be related to this issue, call MCE Technical Support to troubleshoot the problem. If necessary, MCE will send new software and/or hardware to correct the problem.
